What No RAM ?

Whilst data capturing for Y2K compliancy with a team of auditors I found myself in an office with my team that had several server rooms. In one of the server rooms where some 10 PCs needing plugged in and data captured. As part of the exercise a disk would scan the contents of the PC collecting version details of applications for logging to a Y2K asset database. Hence every machine that was to be used in the millennium would need to be working, now, so that later a software fix could be installed.
I sent one engineer to the server room expecting them to emerge around lunch time. Late in the afternoon the engineer turned up looking rather stressed and told me one of the machines was giving them problems would I take  a look at it. The engineer had produced a three page hand written report detailing all the errors, that had came up on the screen. Looking at the paper all I could see was hex, addresses and a lot of bull.
What's taken as long, I said.
This machine, won't let me capture any data from it so I wrote down these errors for you to look at.
When we got to the server room, he switched on the machine, which went beep, beep, beep, beep. and froze.
There's no RAM in this machine.
That would maybe explain why it gave me all these errors said the engineer at the same time binning the three sheets.
