Weird CD-ROM

One day whilst at my parents house my mum asked me why here CD player was not playing the music CD that was being put in the drive. I couldn't be bothered moving off my seat as we had just finished Sunday dinner, so I said try putting the right CD in. My mum ejected the CD which I could see her do, and took out the disk then put it back in making sure that it was up the right way and pressed close.
When the CD started my mum said that's not the disk I'm trying to play.
Perhaps the CD is in the wrong cover did you check the writing. Is that definitely the right disk. My mum opened the draw again and checked the CD label it was definitely the right one. Putting the CD back in and pressing play we were all surprised to hear the wrong CD playing when the disk started up.
Jumping out my chair to take a look, at the 'mystery', I discovered that there was already a disk in the machine, the one that kept playing.
