Welcome to Total Support Computer Workshop. Our first official web site on the Internet this year. This is the front door to our home on the WWW. Step in and have a look around. Some links are not yet complete and not all the pages work yet but give me a month or so. (01 December 2000).

Our Mission

To supply as much online content about personal computer hardware and peripherals. Some space is given to software, but mainly in relation to a piece of hardware. Over time we will provide Guides to many hardware issues. Downloads available from this site have been collated and updated from numerous places and all relate to personal computer hardware and peripherals or operating systems. Shortcuts to as many relevant Links as we could gather have also been included and should improve over time.

Company Profile

Established 8 August 1985, we are a personal computer workshop based in East Kilbride near Glasgow in Scotland. We provide a service to the local community, such as upgrades, repairs, training, advice on purchasing, help with installations, networking, windows, office and other leading applications, technical support on products bought by any hardware manufacturer on any pc and a passion for personal computers in general.

Our company offers many other services such as transferring home movies  on to CD-Rom, a high quality print service including the ability to capture  or print any frame from video tape at high quality svideo, capture and  convert all audio at CD quality into any recognised file format. Total  Support can also capture and publish home video tape from your original  video camera recordings and have an experienced editor enhance your masterpiece,  finally publishing to CD Rom and were it is preserved digitally. If you  have created a favorite animation on your PC we can save your film to  video tape maintaining the audio and video quality using high quality  codecs to capture and playback. We also offer a CD copying service and  a CD archiving service to our customers. Our company can transfer personal  audio recordings to CD and if the recording is on tape or vinyl, apply  professional filters to reproduce superb quality audio without the noise,  interference or hum and then record back to tape or CD.We have been building computers since 1981 and still have fond memories of propping up a 16KB ram upgrade on a ZX81.
